- Simple commands consist of one or two letters and a RETURN.
- The second letter of a command is called a qualifier.
- Some commands accept further arguments. To add an argument,
- type a SPACE after the command or qualifier and then type the
- argument(s). Do NOT put a space between a command and
- a qualifier.
- For example -- The "L" command lists the messages in the mailbox.
- Type just "L" and a RETURN to list all the messages entered since
- you last logged in.
- To list just the messages addressed to you, type "LM" and a
- RETURN. (The "M" stands for "Mine".)
- To list only messages higher than a particular number, such as
- 325, type "L 325". Don't forget the space.
- Some other examples:
- SB to send a bulletin.
- LM to list only messages addressed to you.
- LB to list only the bulletins.
- LT to list only NTS traffic.
- R 3 to read message 3.
- K 5 to kill message 5.
- S W0RLI to send a message to W0RLI
